At the international forum “Sochi-2016” Kuban will present a priority investment project on the development of the Black sea coast

The project implementation provides for the development of a yachting infrastructure and tourist & recreational zones across the territory of the region. 

The project implies the construction of recreational facilities  harbors in coastal cities of Krasnodar region. As part of the first stage it is planned to construct 11 harbors with a capacity of 150 to 600 yachts in Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Sochi and Tuapse district.   

The tentative cost of harbor construction will make around 230 billion rubles. The return on investment period on each of the facilities will make 7-12 years.

 The project implementation will enable to set up a district of intensive yachting in the Black Sea area which is attractive for tourists and ship-owners of small vessels as well as charter and brokerage companies, - as commented in the Department for investments and SME development of Krasnodar region. 

It was noted in the Department that the project are well refined and presented. At present a harbor deployment scheme has been developed. The pre-project materials on a set of harbors have already undergone primary approvals with the Ministry of Natural Resources, with Kuban water basin planning agency and with the administrations of the municipalities on which territories it is planned to locate the facilities.
