The Krasnodar Region Takes Part in the 80th Berlin Green Week

The Russian exposition of the international exhibition "Green Week" was solemnly opened in the capital of Germany on January 16, 2015. It will last until January 25.

Kuban has been participating in this largest agrarian forum during more than 10 years consecutively.

The Vice-Governor, the Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar region Sergey Garkusha headed a delegation of the region this year, – the press service of the Administration of the Krasnodar region reports.

About 200 companies from 15 Russian regions will present their research development, new technologies in agriculture and investment projects this year in Berlin.

A wide range of high quality Kuban products is presented on the 40 square meters of exposition of the Krasnodar region. This is fruit and vegetables, confectionery, canned food, alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as products of Kuban craftsman of folk artistic crafts.

In addition, the region has brought to the exhibition more than 200 industrial investment projects with a total amount of over 64 billion rubles.

Kuban for a number of years is one of the main leaders among Russian regions in terms of investment activity, and it stably holds an investment priority in the Southern Federal District.

Over the past five years, over 140 billion rubles of investments were attracted in the industry, among which more than 60% of the total investment in the agricultural sector is invested in agriculture.

Only at the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2014", Kuban farmers concluded with investors 64 agreements on a total amount of 33.4 billion rubles, – the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry reports.
