Veniamin Kondratyev: The YUGAGRO jubilee exhibition has brought together more than 600 participants from 14 countries

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev launched the International Forum of Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Materials.

«It is a great honor for us to take part in the forum, in which Belarusian manufacturers are traditionally actively involved. The thirtieth-anniversary exhibition features a large exposition. In the future, we hope to expand the presence of Belarusian companies at YUGAGRO,» Roman Golovchenko said.

The head of the region noted that the exhibition brought together more than 600 participants from 14 countries. These are manufacturers from all regions of Russia, companies from Belarus, the Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Poland, India, Azerbaijan, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Turkey, and China.

«For the Krasnodar Territory, the agro-industrial complex is the backbone of the economy. We produce 12 percent of all agricultural products in Russia.  In order to maintain our leading position, we need modern developments and technologies. On this platform, we see both. Over the past five years, more than 70 billion rubles have been invested in updating agricultural machinery of different manufacturers. Nowadays, we need to ensure high yields, equipment efficiency, and overall rural development. In the face of current challenges, we need a reliable partner like Belarus. This is an important component of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

Veniamin Kondratyev handed over the keys to 15 tractors to representatives of nine districts of the region. In total, 100 units of special equipment will be donated to 38 municipalities in 2023.

This year, the exhibition was divided into thematic areas — agricultural machinery and spare parts, agrochemistry and seeds, equipment for storage and processing, as well as irrigation and greenhouses.

Within four days — from November 21 to 24 – more than 40 events will take place within the forum, including conferences, roundtables, seminars, and presentations.
